Navigating a breast cancer diagnosis in September 2019 and the subsequent journey through treatments in 2020 compelled me to seek a change in my life’s direction.

Amidst the trials of 2020, I embarked on a transformative path by enrolling in a Reflexology course that September. With determination, I navigated the challenges of lockdowns and uncertainties throughout 2021, building up the practical hours and emerging successfully in my exams to become a Reflexologist.

My commitment to excellence is further underscored by my achievement of RCRT™ (Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist) certification granted by the Reflexology Association of Canada. This vital certification not only empowers clients to seek reimbursement through their benefits package if it covers these therapeutic services but also attests to my adherence to an exacting standard of competency and Code of Conduct and Ethics.

In addition to Foot Reflexology, I hold a certifications for Hot Stone Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Cranial Reflexology, Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology for Menopause.

In embracing my role as a Reflexologist, I am poised to dedicate my time to the well-being of others. By imparting relaxation, alleviating stress, and fostering wellness, I aspire to make a positive impact on the lives of those I am privileged to serve.

Melissa is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who helps you improve how your body moves and functions by addressing underlying mechanical patterns contributing to pain, restriction, and tension. Her focus is on understanding how your body works as a whole, rather than viewing symptoms in isolation. She is certified by OSTCAN and trained at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, a four-year program focused on classical osteopathic principles and the body as an interconnected mechanical system. Melissa holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University and developed an early interest in healthcare through her work in vision therapy, supporting individuals with concussion-related and visual challenges. This experience shaped her appreciation for how movement, balance, and coordination are influenced by the way your body functions as a whole. Her approach is gentle, thorough, and fully individualized. Each treatment is based on your symptoms, history, and how your body is presenting on the day of your appointment. She believes the body has an inherent ability to self-heal and self-regulate when given appropriate support. Through osteopathic treatment, she aims to support these natural processes by improving balance, mobility, and overall function. What sets her approach apart is the attention given to each person’s unique presentation. Melissa takes the time to listen and assess carefully, allowing her treatment approach to be responsive to your individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all method. She also collaborates with other healthcare providers when appropriate to support coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
